How He Asked Me Out

"My boyfriend, Matt, and I have been together for about three years now. We first met when I was a teacher's assistant in my junior year (he was a senior), and I was asked to help him (the hottest guy) with his Spanish homework. We eventually talked a lot, even though I was kind of a school geek (at least I admit it). One day he was acting really nervous. I though he was just excited about getting an 'A' on his last Spanish test. I was praising him when all of a sudden he asked, 'Will you go to prom with me?' all in one gasp. A month later, he showed up on my stoop with roses and the hottest tux. It was the best night of my life and also the night of our first kiss."

"In school, my guy friend and I had homeroom and first period together. Monday night, he called me and asked about homework and our class plans. I was feeling under the weather and decided to go to bed early, when he called again and said, 'Open your front door and come outside.' I ran outside in my pj's and found candles that spelled out 'PROM' on my porch. He came out from the bushes in a suit and asked me to prom."

"My boyfriend told me he had something special planned for the weekend of our three-month anniversary, and that I had to be at his house at the exact time he told me. When I walked in the door, his mom handed me a short note and told me good luck! He had set up an entire scavenger hunt just to ask me to our fall dance (called 'Coronation')! I followed the steps, and the last one finally led me to his deck. It told me to take about three steps and then look down. He had spent all day painting 'CORONATION?' in huge letters on his lawn! He came around the corner with a vase of flowers and asked if I would go with him. I, of course, said yes!"
