Embarrassing Prom Moments

Caught in the Act
"This great guy asked me to go to prom my freshman year. He complimented me all night, so I thought he really liked me. During the last slow dance, I got swept up in the moment and started kissing him like crazy. Then, like 30 seconds into it, I realized that: one, he was totally turned off; and two, his mom, who was a chaperone, had seen the whole thing!"
In a Flash
"I loved my dress. It was backless and champagne-colored and looked great with a tan. But little did I know that it became see-through with the flash of a camera. Everyone who saw my pictures knew I was wearing a polka-dot thong. Talk about a Kodak moment!"
Mistaken Identity
"I didn't want to go to prom with anyone from my school, so a friend said she would set me up with this boy named Rob. I was psyched: Rob was a tall, cute guy I'd met before. But when my date arrived, it was another guy named Rob! Let's just say that he was definitely not cute — and I had to spend the whole night with him!"
Runaway Limo
"After the limo dropped us off at prom, my friend said to me, 'I don't have my ticket — it's in the limo!' I sprinted down the road in my prom dress and high heels, chasing the limo and hysterically yelling, 'Wait! Wait!' When I stopped, I saw that a group of valets was watching — and totally laughing at me."
Brow Beating
"I wanted to be the hottest girl at prom, and the only things that looked bad were my eyebrows. I decided to pluck them — but I used my magnifying mirror without realizing it. When I was done, I glanced in the regular mirror, and my brows were really small and they looked terrible! So, I wore a little hat to cover them up — until someone pulled it off. Then everyone noticed and commented. It's funny now, but at the time, so not funny."
