How do I get rid of zits, redness, and under-eye circles?
How should I cover up zits, redness, and dark under-eye circles?
Most foundation is too heavy for teen skin, which makes tinted moisturizer the perfect cover-up! To apply tinted moisturizer, use a brush, a sponge, or clean fingers.
If you feel like you need a little more coverage in some areas or on spots, use your concealer. Concealer should be blended under the eyes until it sets. Tap-tap-tap with your ring finger until your concealer doesn't have hard edges, but still covers up darkness. When it comes to concealer and tinted moisturizer, always choose light and non-comedogenic products that won't clog your pores.
When you're concealing under the eyes, your concealer should be one shade lighter for pale skin and two shades lighter for darker skin. On the other hand, when covering a pimple, your concealer should match your skin almost exactly. You can mix your concealer with tinted moisturizer to get the perfect color for pimple coverage. Use a tiny brush for precise coverage. Don't forget to set it with powder.
Use face/translucent powder to set your tinted moisturizer and concealer. A soft fluffy puff is your best loose powder tool. Dip the puff gently, shake off the excess, rub a little in your palm and then press your powder puff all over to set your tinted moisturizer. Wash your powder puffs once a week with soap and warm water.
