Chic Sophisticate

YOUR LOOK: A plum smoky eye, soft nude lips, and a cool, piecey updo.

EYES

1. Using a black pencil, line your inner rims and upper and lower lash lines.
2. Dust gray shadow over your lids and pale lilac from your creases to just beneath your brow bones, then apply dark plum eye shadow along your upper and lower lash lines, over the pencil.
3. Coat your top lashes with black mascara.

FACE

Smooth tinted moisturizer over your face to give your complexion a soft glow.

LIPS

1. Line and fill in your lips with a lip pencil a shade lighter than your skin tone. If you have a medium to dark complexion, use a beige lip pencil. If you have light skin, choose a pinkish-beige pencil.
2. Smooth on a glossy lip balm.

HAIR

1. Use a comb to create a center part.
2. Run a straightening iron over the top layer of your hair, twisting the iron down and under when you get to the ends to create a slight inward bend.
3. To make your hair look piecey, rub a dime-sized blob of texturizing pomade between your fingers and separate and define random ½-inch section of hair. This style is for hair that’s chin-length or shorter. If yours is longer and you have face-framing layers, pull your hair back into a low, messy bun, then style the sides according to directions.

How much "prama," aka prom drama, is there at your school?

  • Tons! It's like a TV drama!
  • Some - but I avoid it.
